Overcome Depression, Worry & Stress

Stressed OutWhile depression may have a variety of causes, the underlying common denominator of them all is usually a problem of attitude - attitude towards yourself, your life, your work, family and so on. We're going to help you transform your attitude and perspective so that you become a happier and more positive person. Soon, your new attitude becomes automatic and second-nature to you, and you begin enjoying and living life much more fully. Worry and stress have become commonplace in life, but this was not so in the 1970's and earlier. The power of suggestion can cause distorted attitudes and expectations for an entire nation. We can teach you how to stop the cycle of worry and stress and control your mind anytime you wish.
 
Improve Memory & Test Anxiety
3 or 6 session program
What we're going to do is to teach you how to access the information that's stored in your mind. As you probably know, your subconscious mind has the ability to store any and all information it receives. Basically, what we're doing is conditioning your subconscious mind to make that information more easily and readily available to your conscious mind. We'll also teach you techniques so that you'll be able to block out distractions when you study or read. This will also allow you to focus your concentration on whatever it is you want to focus on. You'll find that your mind will no longer wander.
One of the major reasons people fail tests is because of anxiety. Most people know the information that's being asked on the exam, but when they get into the test situation, they get nervous and all that knowledge just goes out the window. We will teach you how to remain perfectly calm and relaxed during the exam and also teach you a technique to instantly reach down into the subconscious mind for the answers to any questions that you might be having difficulty with.
 
Fears & Phobias
3 or 6 session program
Your phobia is what we call a "conditioned response." In other words, over the years your subconscious mind has come to associate a particular situation with feelings... in your case... fear, anxiety, panic, nervousness, etc. What we're going to do is set up a new conditioned response of calmness, confidence and relaxation in all those particular situations. This way, we give the control back to you. In a very real sense, we'll be reversing your reactions so that you actually begin to enjoy those situations that you used to fear. We can help you with all phobias such as driving over bridges, flying, dental visits, water, animals and public speaking.
 
Alcohol & Drug Dependency
3 or 6 session program
Basically, what we are going to do is remove the desire (for the alcohol or drugs) so that you just won't want it any more. And if you don't want it then it becomes that much easier to say no to it should temptation arise. In a very real sense, we change the attitude that you have (toward the alcohol or drugs). We change your priorities so that the desire (for the alcohol or drugs) is replaced by a stronger desire for health, vitality, longevity, self-respect, control, freedom or whatever else is important to you.
Now in cases of chemical dependency there are sometimes a number of emotional factors that might need to be addressed in the course of therapy along with the addiction itself. For that reason, I can't tell you right now how many total sessions you might need. I can say, from experience, that it can be as little as 3 to 6 sessions.
 
Pain Management
3 or 6 session program
As you probably know, the mind has the ability to help the body heal itself. For instance, if you get a cut or a bruise your body automatically heals that cut or bruise. Of course your condition is a bit more serious and complicated than a simple cut or bruise, but the principle remains the same. And I might also add that, once the body heals itself, the mind can keep the body healthy. You see, the subconscious knows how to help the body heal itself; but, for one reason or another, it doesn't always automatically do it. Sometimes it needs to be helped along, and this is where our psychological tools come into play.
Basically what we are going to do is give your subconscious that needed guidance to help mobilize your body's natural healing-process, and put it to work for you. Now, in any kind of disease or illness there are often a number of emotional factors that come into play such as stress, anxiety, worry, anger and so forth. Furthermore, depending upon your particular situation, these may need to be addressed in the course of therapy along with the actual physical problem. Of course we'll be working along with your primary physician, so we will need a medical referral before we begin the actual therapy. This can be as simple as a prescription from your doctor prescribing our therapy for your condition. We can help you reduce or eliminate any type of pain such as migraine headaches, arthritis, fibromyalgia, IBS and back pain.
 
Insomnia & Nail Biting

If you are like most people, there have been nights when you toss and turn, restless and exhausted. The harder you strive and strain for sleep, the wider awake you become. We can teach you an effective procedure and you will never be troubled by insomnia again. Once we train you on how to relax deeply, a restful nights sleep in inevitable.
Nail biting is a subconscious habit. Your conscious mind knows you shouldn't bite your nails, but that's not enough to stop you. This is where we can help; regardless of how many years you've bitten your nails. Most nail biters engage in the habit when they are watching television, concentrating or nervous. You learn to associate biting as a relief or distraction when you are in these situations or states of mind. It takes a subconscious therapy approach to eliminate this subconscious habit and create new habits of relaxation and self control.
